BLK 033 Yoruba Caps

These caps are called fìlà and are indigenous to the Yòrubá. They have been made in different designs and sizes. Your size is based on the circumference of your head, so it is necessary to measure your head or ask your tailor for your head size.

How to measure your head;
Place a measuring tape on your head just above your ears and about one inch above your eyebrows or use a string round your head if you dont have a tape and then put the string on a ruler to get the measurement. Make sure the string is snug but not too tight.

If you are not certain about size, or are between sizes, buy the larger size. That is, if your measurement falls between two sizes, choose the larger one.
